College Closing In!

So I’m clearly not a blogger. This blog will be used more like a site to display my works and to post tweets that are over 140 characters. So let’s start off with SCORCH.

If you haven’t been following the SCORCH updates via my Twitter account, I’ve uploaded all of my works from my senior year of high school onto SoundCloud which can be viewed here. If you want just the SCORCH songs, check out the page here and listen to the playlist!

All of the music posted on my music pages are all that I have done. Good, bad, horrible, brilliant… Once I graduated from high school, my musical career was put at a standstill. I was left to choose which path to follow, and I’m sure I’ve chosen the right path. I could either spend some major cash on the equipment and software needed to create the music I loved (and still love), or I could go back to writing my stories that my family loves so much. I was never pushed to continue my musical career, and it’s really nothing more than a fun hobby. I’m not the best composer, I can’t read sheet music, but I’m happy with the songs I’ve composed and Reorchestrated.

I’m happy to have friends like Len, Stephen, Sabi, Eric… They are some amazing people who inspire me and push me to try and do more with whatever I may do. I’m not going to attempt to reach their level of composing, but it sure would be amazing. I’ll stick with something I’m already good at, writing.

So what can you expect from me? Easiest way to find out is to follow me on Twitter. I’m still calling myself a gamer/author/composer/artist, because that is exactly what I do. I’m going to focus on my work in college, where I plan to major in Computer Science, and minor in Creative Writing.

I have two stories that I wrote and completed during my junior year of high school. Both are half-typed and can easily be completed in a day. One will be featured on Link’s Hideaway and the other is already partially up on my blog.

Seeing as I’m the only real and active member of SCORCH, we will be going into a state of hiatus after I update the Facebook page later today. Anyone who wants to revive it or add to it, feel free to contact me!

For personal things, follow my Twitter and catch my images on Google+/Picasa/Instagram. I’ll be sure to post any site updates as they happen.
